We moved to Amberley in June 2002 after living in the Lake District for five years where we ran a small guest house near Cockermouth.
We enjoy meeting people and have been overwhelmed at how nice our guests have been and we must have a winning formula after 20 years as all the comments in the visitors book prove!
We moved to Two Farm Cottages in 2015 after living at Stream Cottage in the old part of the village for thirteen years. 16th Century thatched cottages certainly look pretty but you need banker’s bonuses to maintain them.

If you are unfamiliar with Amberley then brace yourself for a real treat. Only 54 miles from London, it is known as the ‘Pearl of Sussex with many picturesque lanes, houses, gardens and a 12th century church and castle.
We pride ourselves on our hospitality and ability to make guests feel at home –
Janet is also a qualified reflexologist, so if any of the wonderful local walks are just a bit too much, professional help is at hand.
